“My face is covered, not because of Covid but in shame” -Funsho Adeolu sparks reactions (Photo)

Popular Nollywood actor, Funsho Adeolu has sparked up reactions from people as he threw a shade at an unnamed association in his recent post.

The actor, who took to his social media page to share a picture of himself covering his face, captioned it that, he covered his face because he was ashamed of the leaders of the unnamed association, which he referred to as “a local association”.

He wrote; “My face is covered, not because of COVID-19, but in shame on behalf of those who call themselves leaders of local association and do not have the interest of members at heart. God is watching o”

However, many people have interpreted the post to be about the recent suspension of two Nollywood actresses, Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo by the leaders of the Theatre Arts And Motions Practitioner Association Of Nigeria after they were accused of the derogatory words on social media about the association.

This post has generated lots of reactions from people who were praising the actor for standing with the truth as they claimed the leaders did not do the right thing with their actions.

The leaders of TAMPAN have organized a press conference to announce the suspension of the services of the directors of the association from working with Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo. And it was during the conference, that a prominent veteran actor and one of the leaders, Jide Kosoko has said, they could frustrate the actresses out of the industry.
