Nigerian artiste, Tiwa Savage, lost her father in the early hours of today. The popular singer made this terrible announcement on her official Instagram page earlier this evening.
In a statement released on Instagram, Tiwa Savage made it known that she lost her father this morning after a long-time sickness ended his life. She wrote: “early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple of years but you’re resting now”.
Tiwa Savage stated that the loss of her father has made her really weak. She made it clear that it’s a tough one for her to handle at the moment. She said: “This is tough on me, I am no numb, so weak. Rest in peace my King. I love you Daddy!”.
The stack reality is that Tiwa Savage doesn’t have a father anymore. The Nigerian Music Star has joined a host of celebrities who have lost their parent this year. We hope God grants her the fortitude to bear the loss as this is definitely going to hurt her for a long time.
