Popular gospel singer, Tope Ajogbajesu, popularly known as Taiwo, is dead.
The sad news of his demise was announced in a post shared on the official Facebook page of the music group.
According to report, he died in the early hours of Friday, July 30, after battling with an illness. He started his music career at the age of 12. Taiwo was a member of the singing duo, Ajogbajesu twins.
Taiwo and Hide were good friends. They were on the record label of Gbenga Adewusi better known as Bayowa Special. Their debut album “winner” was released in 2004. They have finished work on another album and were in the process of releasing when Taiwo died.
Fans and colleagues of the deceased have taken to social media to express their sadness over his demise.
Taiwo uses music to exalt and glorify the name of God. May his soul rest in the Bossom of the Almighty God.
